We currently have an Inside Sales Position available
Qualifications:
- Charlotte based Manufacturer’s Representative with 30 years of experience in the Water and Power Industries is searching for an Inside Sales Coordinator.
- This person will be responsible for processing sales orders and responding to sales requests and inquiries from designated territories.
- The Sales Coordinator will serve as the customers' primary daily contact person.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide support to customers including Architectural/Engineering Firms; Power Stations; Water and Water Treatment Plants; Regional Sales Managers; Contractors and Manufacturers.
- Process Sales Orders; Purchase Orders and Invoices utilizing Peachtree Accounting Software.
- Provide sales, technical, and referral information in response to phone inquiries.
- Assist Regional Sales Managers with development of process documentation.
- Calculate pricing and provide quotes and/or orders as requested by Customers.
- Qualify and submit requests for product returns account credits. Validate product returns. Process new account and account change information.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in customer service or Inside sales or sales administration.
- Excellent interpersonal, telephone, verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a flexible team player, with high energy and an ingrained sense of servicing the Customer.
- Ability to complete mathematical calculations.
- Proficiency using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Access); Peachtree Accounting a plus.
- Product knowledge (Valves and Actuators) or Manufacturing Experience preferred.
